WorldShoppy Group strives to ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders, including e-commerce merchants, food shop owners and consumers, grocery shop owners and consumers, parcel delivery services, medicine delivery, pharmacies, and home services. Below is the cancellation policy designed to balance the interests of service providers and consumers:
General Guidelines
1. Cancellation Requests
• Cancellation requests must be submitted through the WorldShoppy app or website.
• Requests are subject to the specific terms outlined in the respective service categories below.
2. Refund Eligibility
• Refund eligibility depends on the timing and reason for the cancellation.
• Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days, depending on the payment method.
3. Cancellation Fees
• A cancellation fee may apply to cover processing costs, depending on the service and timing.
4. No-Refund Cases
• Refunds may not be provided for last-minute cancellations, misuse of services, or violations of our terms and conditions.
Service-Specific Policies
1. E-Commerce Orders
• Consumers:
• Orders can be canceled before shipment without any charge.
• If the order is already shipped, cancellation will be allowed, but shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.
• Merchants:
• Cancellations must be reported immediately to avoid penalties.
• Repeated cancellations may lead to account review or suspension.
2. Food Shop Owners and Consumers
• Consumers:
• Cancellations are allowed up to 5 minutes after placing the order without penalty.
• After food preparation begins, no refund will be issued.
• Shop Owners:
• Non-delivery due to operational issues must be reported to avoid consumer dissatisfaction.
3. Grocery Shop Owners and Consumers
• Consumers:
• Orders can be canceled before the dispatch stage.
• For perishable items, cancellations after dispatch will not be refunded.
• Shop Owners:
• Must notify consumers of order cancellations promptly to maintain trust.
4. Parcel Delivery Services
• Cancellations must be made before the parcel is picked up by the delivery agent.
• After pickup, cancellation requests will incur a charge equal to the base delivery fee.
5. Medicine Delivery and Pharmacies
• Consumers:
• Cancellations must be made within 5 minutes of placing the order.
• No cancellations are allowed for prescription medicines after dispatch.
• Pharmacies:
• Must ensure timely delivery or inform the consumer of delays to avoid disputes.
6. Home Services
• Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled service time for a full refund.
• Cancellations within 12 hours of the service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
Exceptional Cases
Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, emergencies, or service provider issues) will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
